Off-grid, grid-tied, and battery backup electrical systems can be designed to meet any electrical demand, from a single LED to a microgrid.
The key to success of these systems is to design them to be robust and reliable and provided by people with the training and experience to complete them properly.

Founding story
Eric’s journey into solar started while working at Polaroid Corporation building computer chips for digital handheld cameras. He realized the process used to make microchips was similar to how solar cells are made. Curious, he built a solar cell himself. His boss liked the idea, but Polaroid had explored solar years earlier and decided not to pursue it. However, that moment stuck with Eric.
Wanting to learn more, he headed to Colorado to train at Solar Energy International (SEI), where he learned how to design and install solar energy systems.
In 1992, he founded Innovative Energy in Summit County, Colorado. More than 30 years later, what started as curiosity has grown into a lifelong commitment to helping communities harness clean, reliable solar power.
